Let’s start at the beginning… what even is a case study?

When you’re considering buying something, especially something big and expensive, what’s one of the first things you do? You check the reviews, right?

Social proof is everything when it comes to marketing your business or selling your product. In fact, 92% of people won’t buy a thing without checking out the online reviews first. Are you all you’re cracked up to be?

Your potential customers want to hear from people like them who have invested their hard-earned money into your company. They want reviews, they want testimonials, but most of all, they want case studies.

Think of a case study like a glowing testimonial, but on steroids.

They’re an in depth, unbiased, customer-focused view of what it’s like to work with you from the inside.

You may have heard about the power of stories.

For thousands and thousands of years, human beings have told stories. We can’t get enough of them.

You can think of a case study like a story. It’s a fairy tale, with your customer starring as the damsel in distress and your company coming to their rescue, like a knight in shining armour.

They had a problem that needed solving and you solved it. So let’s shout it from the rooftops!

I write case studies that are the perfect length to hold people’s attention (500-800 words) and get them invested in the human side of your business.

People helping people.

OK, but what can I do with this case study?

Oh, so many things!

Case studies are evergreen and multipurpose. They live on as a marketing asset long after they’ve been written, selling and re-selling on your behalf for years to come. The ROI for case studies is very healthy!

You can split them into dozens of content pieces, spreading your message far and wide while saving you time and money.

If you book with me, I will send you my free e-book all about how to repurpose your case studies and make the most of this great marketing tool.

I’m sold! How does this work?

A case study workflow is simple and takes minimal effort on your part.

  • When you book me, I’ll send you a short questionnaire to fill out. This will give me the inside scoop on your company, what’s important to you, and tells me exactly what you want your case study to achieve.

  • Next, we need a customer. I’m sure you have some great success stories in mind already, so hook me up with an introduction and I’ll take it from there!

  • I’ll interview your customer (usually a <30 minute call) and really drill down into how your company made a difference to them.

  • Then, I’ll craft a narrative-based case study of 500-800 words that takes the reader on a journey – problem, solution, results. Sprinkle in some powerful, soundbite-worthy quotes and your case study is ready. A shining, golden success story that builds trust and generates sale after sale.

It’s worth noting that I only provide the words for these nifty marketing assets, not the beautiful design. If you don’t have an in-house designer on board it’s no problem. I know some amazing designers who I can introduce you to, or for a small fee I can take charge of this for you and deliver the finished product, ready to go.

Once your case study is in your hands, you’re free to use it however you want! I’ll send you my free e-book to guide you through the many ways you can repurpose it and reap the rewards of social proof again and again. To reserve your time with me, just drop me a message and we’ll get the ball rolling!
